Ivory & Twine is a boutique studio specializing in modern calligraphy and bespoke design for weddings and other special occasions. We aim to create romantic and refined pieces that are inspired by our clients' love story and organic elements in nature. We focus on simple but purposeful design to create timeless keepsakes that commemorate your special event.
Meet The Artist
Hi there! My name is Natalie and I am the founder and designer behind Ivory & Twine. I have always been fascinated with typography and first started dabbling in calligraphy and lettering as a personal creative outlet. After helping some of my friends with their wedding stationery, I fell in love with all the pretty and creative details in the industry and decided to open my own home studio. I am a modern calligrapher, taking the traditional approach and breaking some rules for a more contemporary and organic style.
How It Works
Working in the wedding industry and being a bride-to-be myself, I know how valuable time is as you plan one of the most important days of your lives. It can be stressful so when it comes to your stationery, my approach is to make your experience as easy and seamless as possible. Leave the details to me, we know you have a hundred other things on your to-do list!
We want to hear more about your event and how we can help. Fill out a contact form for weddings, corporate & other events other corporate/special events or any other general inquiries. You can also shoot us an email with a brief description of your ideas if you prefer. We will respond via email or by phone to discuss how we can work together and to set up a time for a consultation.
In an initial consultation, we will chat more about your event and what pieces you are looking for. We like to get a feel for your style and aesthetic so feel free to come with your Pinterest boards or any other inspiration you might have. Based on our discussion, a quote will be prepared with an estimate on the costs for the project.
If you’re ready to proceed we will go ahead and send over our service contract and confirm next steps. At this point we also ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to make things official!
Now to the fun part! Once we’ve started the process of designing, we’ll be in touch and may reach out with some further thoughts on refining your design or for your approval on proofs for certain pieces.
We will notify you once your pieces are complete and set a pick-up time. If you prefer, we can also arrange to have your pieces shipped or our couriered to you directly. The remaining 50% deposit will also be due before your pieces are picked up or shipped.
